Some are threatened by their parents with knives at home. In one case, the father even threatened his daughter and said, “I’ll send you to get raped.” There are many more unimaginable cases. We provide safehouses because we want to help the elderly and the young. We don’t have specific expectations to accomplish, but we just want to keep them safe.
